I haven't posted up in this place for almost 2 months I think, I'd just like to see what everyones been up to.
Back a while ago I bought an eagle talon from a fellow board member (nachius). Got it for a good price, even though I had to replace the motor- man that was fun. I knew it needed a water pump, but for some reason it seemed more sluggish than when I took him out to get it around this time last year [img]tongue.gif[/img] Made a few noises, etc. The exhaust manifold was cracked, and AFTER I bent the valves due to timing idiocies, i took it to an auto shop....turns out there was some interal headgasket problems, cylinder one was rusted all crazy. so i dropped a new motor in it. turbo lag is fun!! [img]tongue.gif[/img]
Next up, I'm so close to done with school it's not even funny. Been busting butt here lately, all my co ops are finished, i just have a few classes left.
Just took posession of my new house friday the 28th. I'll have pictures up later for those interested. This place needed a lot of cleaning. Between my fiance and I, we spent about 8 hours on the refrigerator alone!! Took up the carpet in rooms that we're replacing carpet, and doing some drywall patching where someone opened a door a little too fast. It's kinda wierd, scary, and cool at the same time owning my own place. I'm not looking forward to the monthly payments/utilities/credit card bill for initial supplies, but hey, that's all part of ownership I guess [img]smile.gif[/img]
