i think ive started a trend

well since monday when i got the Trans Am.... 4 guys i work with are going out and looking for camaros. My buddy bought a 2000 T/A today. my other buddy just started looking at Z28s after he found out i have a V-8. another guy i know has a 99z28 and another friend of mine has a 96z28. all of this has happened since i got my car monday!!!!! on the other end of things (the 4 banger side) my buddy shane is looking at Evos. My buddy Marcus is putting a turbo on his Focus(i call it the Slowcus)

then theres the mustangs. 3 friends with 87 to 2000 gts.

its like a started a friendly horsepower war amongst my friends. its great! :D

I started the domestic car trend in my area... a friend of mine was going to get a Laser and kinda "pimp it out" a little. I asked him why not get a Camaro or something and he said he'd never be able to afford one on the budget he had going... A little bit of AutoTrader surfing and he realized that a 3.4 with a couple very minor problems that I could help him fix is dirt cheap. He now owns a '95 Camaro instead of an old Plymouth Laser with a body kit.

Another friend of mine is ricing out his Mustang. He's very competitive, so after spending a ton of money on appearance (body kit, altezzas, ricey 6-spoke white wheels), he started getting performance mods. I still make fun of him. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
