and yeah i see the hydrogen cars really getting mainstream in 2020 but wont overtake petrol cars untill 2050-2060. they will be cool though.

Agreed. People dont seem to realize that.

And why is it that every hybrid, hydrogen, and fuel cell car is so damn ugly? What is the point? Can they not make them look normal? Must they make it look like your some tree hugger in a an attrocius but artsy looking car? Mazda had the right idea last year at the NAIAS show when they had a Hydrogen powered RX-8 on display.

gm has a hybrid sierra, only way you can tell is by the little sticker on the side. And thats nothing new, they've been talking about those things for a couple years now. Been all over the discovery channel.

The hybrid civic is a normal looking car. But, I agree with the general complaint - DON'T MAKE HYBRIDS LOOK STUPID AND MAYBE YOU CAN SELL A FEW MORE!

Maybe their marketing ploy is to get attention with their designs for hybrids or something..
