People will find out from Commercials or whatever it is a European division of GM.German division none the less..People will compare them to other German cars like Mercedes and Volkswagon, which are excellent cars. They would sell.Scion is a brand new subsidiary of Toyota and already doing well...
scion was heavily marketed. toyota is already proven to be a great automobile builder. the name caddilac markets itself. but if i ever saw a commercial for the "opel catera" i wouldnt be too excited. not saying that they are bad cars, because i dont know, but it would take a while for people to start buying them.
also why did they stop selling cateras after 2001, and like 5 years of production? (not being a smart-***, i just want to know)

Yea, Opel is GM. And in all actuality (SP?), and despite what James says, GM isnt crap. Maybe a branch of GM is crap, but that doesnt mean ALL of GM is crap. And just for the record, I dont think ANY branch of GM is crap.

Yes, I'm familiar with them.
My ex-g/f had a Peugeot (pronounced Pur-zhow) 206 as a company car (well, she was a nanny working for a family) for a while.
The pedals were all too close together, the driving position was all wrong and the handling was awful.
Other than that, it was a wonderful car
think of "per" only without the "rrrr" at the end... all you need is the "euh" sound before the "rrr."
by "zhow" he means a hard "sz" sound before the "oh" sound.
opel imported the GT (and maybe something else) in the 60s, renault imported the "le car" in the 80's and peugeot also imported something in the 80's... maybe a 405? merkur brought some stuff over and so did lancia i think...
but imagine having to pay import duties and tax and **** on a european car that is already more expensive (for lots of reasons) that may or may not be any better than a domestic. doesn't seem like such a great idea.

hell, i dont even know how to pronounce "zhow" </font>
Well, If I put 'show' it would be slightly inacruate, which is why I changed the S to a Z.
I could figure out how to write that particular sound.
