Saw the advanced screening of Arthur yesterday...

... and it was sub-par. It wasn't pure crap, but it sure wasn't what I expected.

I thought there'd be quite a bit of cool fight scenes. There aren't, and the fighting that is there is a bunch of arrows flying through the air. That's it. There is VERY little choreographed sword fighting, and it's all short-lived.

The actual plot of the movie was alright, and the actors were actually pretty cool - all of the characters were developed pretty well. But in the end it all comes together like crap. MERLIN ISN'T EVEN A FREAKIN' WIZARD IN THE MOVIE!

I don't want to put in any spoilers, but the movie was a letdown overall.

That's because it's supposed to be a "historical" film about the roots of Arthurian legend, not a real Round Table movie. Looks like a D & D version... aka crap.

Probaly no Robin Hood Men in Tights but I might see it, only a $1 here in the Burg to see a movie.
