Definately get a TA. That is, if you don't mind having a grin on your face at all times. Even though I fill with premium, mine gets better mileage (before cam) then my V6 did.

Corvettes, meh. Don't even bother. If you get a vette, get the right one and pickup a Z06.

check out insurance for both. I refused to pay more per month for insurance than the car itself, thats why I bought the 6. see how a brand new car compares to a used T/A. might cancel each other out.
T/A has already depreciated where the scion will lose +/- $6,000 as soon as you drive it off the lot.
T/A will be nearly as economical as the scion as long as your foot keeps itself off the floorboard.
there are a lot of things to consider.

i couldnt pay 19k for a new scion dude, Honestly if i was looking for a nice car, low on insurance and a good daily driver id buy a 00/01/02 cadillac eldorado, deville or seville or a 3 series bmw. Somewhere along those lines, you can get all those with low miles for around or under 19k plus when i was looking around at cars cadillacs were lower on insurance than my gtp, bmws, jaguars and mercedes were about the same. Im more luxury then anything, i like speed but a Ls1 fbody wouldnt be the 1st thing id choose in a car, My next car is gonna be a 3 series bmw or a jaguar S type so you can see what i like

Bah, do what I did and get a 1997.5-2004 Buick Regal GS... insurance is cheap, gas mileage is good, it's comfortable and the cops will never notice you unless you're getting crazy with your speeds. I always felt like a cop-magnet in my old red camaro :shudder:

I would get the TA cause its what I want too!!! That blue is so beautiful! Are the miles low?

I hate to say it but that Scion is nice looking too.
