u might want to try a program called
Blubster or Piolet
it works great at my cousins house in NY but for some reason it dont work for me here in FL... but i love that program. u might wanna see if that works...

Apple uses AAC format which has HIGHER Quality at the same size as an MP3. Most apple stuff is encoded at a higher quality than most MP3's. I use ITunes all the time, and it sounds great. Not as good a WAV or a well-produced CD, but still one of the best music compression formats around.
