Congrats on making a wise decision to put the family before personal wants. That's more than a lot of people would do. I purchased my Regal so I'd have the best of both worlds, better performance than a V6 Camaro and plenty of room for my growing girls.

Stick around, I want to hear what an Exploder gets in the 1320 with a family loaded up... :D

You know, you could fit 5 kids in the back of your Firebird. You and your wife at front, 3 on the back seat and two in the trunk. Ex-wife can go on the roof.

Just kidding. When the time is right again, reclaim that dream by buying another F-body.

Family always comes first. SUV sounds like a logical choice. But don't ever leave the board.

I am a member w/no f- body to. I lost my 97 bird in an accident.now my ride is a old bike without brakes, suspension and other important stuff. I feel so bad when the people watch me at the street and they make fun of that.

                    Shawn,
I'm surprised it took this long!

You did the right thing. Nothing in the world is more important than Julie and the kids. Cars come and go... you can always buy a new Firebird later... but the same can not be said for family.

                    Congrats!
