As a few of you may have noticed, I havent been around much lately. I've been lurking but not posting much. I've finally gotten my life back in order and got a few of my priorites refocused. I was working waaaay to many hours and was about to put myself in an early grave (working 75+ hrs a week for the past 5 years). So I got a new job, that pays enough so that i only have to work 1 job, and i no longer am living paycheck to paycheck. I just started this week as a diesel/hydraulic tech at a local steel mill called Crucible Specialty Steel ( linkey here). It is a union job, pays well, outstanding benefits package, 401k, pension etc. I am so happy there. I havent been this excited about a job ever. I actually enjoy going to work. Right now i'm workin the 7am-3pm shift, once my probationary period is up (90 days) i am probably be going to get moved to afternoons (3pm-11pm). But there is also a shift differential so i dont mind. Anywho, that's really all. Between that and workin on the car, i've been keepin pretty busy.

Glad to hear you're still kickin too. The Job stared at $15.95 an hour. I work on the heavy machinery there. by heavy machinery, one of the trucks weighs in at 34,800 lbs, and carries up to 60,000. I'm gonna take a few pics of the things i get to work on and post 'em next week. The car will be runnin in the next week or so, I'm hard up for cash lately with the job transition. Soon, very soon.1995 Camaro 3.4L Black with T tops, 5 speed manual

Mods:
Pro 5.0 short throw shifter, MSD Ignition coils, 3.73 gears, Torsen LSD,Mac diff cover, Umi LCAs
K&N Cold Air Intake, Window Tint (20% rear, 35%front), aluminum driveshaft, fastchip tuning

awsome. in vo-tech, last class we started ripping apart a diesel engine. he said it weigh's anywhere from 1600-1900lbs. and thats JUST the engine, no trans, radiatort ect. it was funny, he gace us NO intructions or anything. we had to take a safety test. i thought we'd be in the book for weeks learning how to take it apart. but no, he said its pretty much self-explanitory. i love school, and im passing everything with like 80% and better.umm hm what else...me and suzi are still together. i think thats about it. that kinda catches ya up. better be on AIM soon. good luck.1998 bright red camaro ,M5 ,Y87 ,stock

Originally posted by Rune:
If it smells like a turd and looks like a turd, chances are its probably not a candy bar.
