I'll be driving 4 hours back home to the arm pit of NC, Fayetteville. Does that count?

What are lingonberries? I've heard of them, but don't recall ever having seen them.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I am going somewhere the day or so after Christmas. I am not sure where though. It's a surprise ... a Christmas present! All I know is that it is somewhere warm!

Scandinavian cranberries. They don't grow here naturally, they either import the berries themselves (frozen) or have special farms (I guess--we buy the imported ones).

They're served like cranberries with gravy, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, etc. but don't have the same nasty tartness that cranberries have. If you ever see them in a can at the grocery store, give them a try.

I might be with my girlfriends family and my parents may drive up and join us. My one bro will be stuck in another state, and my other bro is going skiing in europe.

My wife is going to Florida to spend Christmas with her family. Me, on the other hand, I'm stuck here in the desert

I'm traveling 1 hour back to my parents house. Then on Christmas day, 1 hour to my Grandma's house. And then for Dec. 29th I am traveling 3 hours to the Alamo bowl to see Ohio State play.

Going school to home (3 hours each way), home to one grandparents' house (1 hour each way), home to other grandparents' house (45 minutes each way), and maybe home to see a friend from HS at another college (1.5 hours each way). My poor car's milage. :(

Those posts about skiing make me want to go snowboarding sooo bad. If it wasn't for the money, I'd be going to Snowshoe, but alas, out of state tuition is very bad on my wallet.
