I turned 17 this past June and my 99 firebird is my 3rd car. My first car was a 1996 Olds Aurora 4.0 V8. Nice car, but a boat. Then I got a 2002 yellow cavalier ls sport (fully loaded). After that I saw the firebird and fell in love with it. Looking for a v8 as my next car. As you can see I spend all my time and money on cars. Its kinda like a hobby.

PS: The sexiest car I will ever own will probably be the firebird I have now. Girls are drawn to these cars.

insurance reasons i had to stick to a V6. My previous car was a 1995 Z28 hardtop, but i had an accident and my insurance now is around 3500/year, if not more because i live in NJ an it's quite bad.

I really didn't want a V6, my dad has a dealer liscense and got me into the aycock auto auction with $6000 cash in my pocket. I had my eye out ALL day for a z-28 but out of the 2,700 cars there, I only found one 94' Trans Am that had 180k miles and looked like it was badly wrecked at one time and then fixed so I did'nt buy it. My 16th birthday was only three days away so I had to have something to drive. About the third from last car rolls through, a 2000 Camaro with 57k miles and a starting bid at $4000. It made it to the $6000 mark and my dad pretty much bought the car without even telling me, he just says "hey lets run out the truck right quick" and throws me a set of keys and points to my unwanted car. Eventhough it wasn't wanted, I freaked out and fell in love with it, especially when I got in it and saw it was a five speed. And besides, for $6000 you can't beat that deal, I figured I'd just trade it for a 96-97' Z28 no problem. I still want a Z28 badly and insurance is no problem since I only have liability and the car is payed for. I've tried trading my car numerous times for a Z28, but even though my car is in my name, I have to have a guardian there. How gay is that???
