hey guys. got off the phone with my insurance company and they said for just liability on a 97 trans am is 170 a month for me. my camaro is 90 a month. that almost doubles sheesh. dang. poo.
anyone have any htoughts? or have a better price that they recieve? that is with the good student discount
The confusion surrounds me
change is imminent
if I were they
we could be great
Go to another insurance company. The insurance business is starting to use over 1,500 different ways of determining car issurance. I believe All State and Progressive are the leaders in this field. All State is supposed to be the cheapest among low risk drivers with good records.
thanks. update local insurance companies ranging from 144 amonth to 187 a month.
about to try geico and progressive online. the only concern i really have is that it costs 300 to start which also covers the last and first months payment then i make 4 paymetns at 144 a month then they resend me a longer policy quote. does that sound wierd to anyone else? every insurance company ive called seems to be doing this. updte in 20 mins

I think it makes a big difference from one type car to the next between the companies.
My firebird v6 I had through geico, cheaper than everyone else. Yes everyone else.
Then I bought a wrx and geico was $2600 or $2800 for 6 months!! (full coverage)
And progressive is only $1400 6 months.
the cheapest i found to liability my camaro was state farm and that was with massive discounts and stuff. 150 /month.
go to geico.com they saved me loads on my car insurance. my camaro for liability is only 102/month and thats uninsured motorist, one up from the minimums, and a few other things. just make sure you only drive it 8000 miles a year ;)
