people think the GTO should look like some sports car.
They didnt go retro w/ the GTO for a reason, they wanted to make a "new GTO" that imbodies everything that the old GTO was. The old GTO was just another big pontiac sedan that they put a big engine in. It wasnt really like sports car. Thats what this new GTO is. Its just another pontiac sedan that they put a big engine in.
Yeah, I saw that article awhile back. I'm definately going to hate it if they go retro. I notice that the 2005 Mustang is not selling well at it's first start. Not like the previous 99 style, I remember seeing a bunch of those in 98. I think the retro look had alot to do with it.
As for the Firebird. There are rumors that the Trans AM (not associating it anymore with Firebird) might come back. The Firebird might come back as a small 4 cycl. or 6 car. That's just want I've heard so far.
i'm not feelin' it guys. i think it's kinda neat but they SHOULD NOT go retro unless it looks AMAZING and that isn't amazing to me. It's neat lookin' but not HOTT like the 4th Gens. The 4th gen's combined sleak and sexiness with raw power and torque. This new one doesn't have the sleak and sexiness it should. Not looking to buy one if they look like that. I'll be sayin' C6 Z06 baby. That car is HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
