Z06’s 7.0-liter V8, producing upward of 600 hp. Look for lightweight carbon fiber body parts to reduce weight to about 2900 pounds.
ummm thats very light for that much power

so this is a version better than the Z06?

car and driver called it the C6 blue devil Z06 corvette so i guess its still a z06-i think one of the sites i posted sed its was nicknamed that because its the Ford( Blue oval) GT's devil or something.

keep in mind they are estimating the hp. they didnt know what kind of power. they just saw the car.

i was watching Spike TV this morning and they had a little on it. basiclly what they said was it was just supercharged, but they said they think it would have 700+ horsepower. not 600+. but they dont think its gonna be produced. just a concept or whatever.

EDIT: they also had the 2007 Porsche if anyone cares.

People who took the spy shots said they could hear a supercharger... so its not a very reliable source... It could just be the Z06 in blue?...

It's not the Z06. Read the links posted above, this car is to be a tier above the Z06.

It's actually going to be more than 600 hp. GM plans to make it a very reliable car with even better handling, braking and the whole bits.

Imagine, a vette that has over 600 hp and only weighing 2,900 lbs. That is sick. Definately an Enzo killer.
