  • Would you guys do or buy a KIT car?

    http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/i...irst_record=1&

I so want this car. Contach is my dream car. But I know in my life time I can never afford the real thing.

If I do get something like this. I would put a V8 from V8 archie or a SC 3800 II.

It will probably beat the real thing.

I guess I would, but everyone is right, it would need a beast of an engine, I'm talking superchanged big block with at least 600hp.

The kit car will weight so much more so you would need so much more horsepower to complete the illusion.

I always wanted to do a kitcar. However, I lack garage space. :(

If you're interested, you might want to check out Kitcar magazine...lots of cool rides to see.

Countach ;) Kit cars can be fun but you have to watch out for them, get the crappy slapped together ones and it will fall apart around you. Look on www.lamboshop.com for good kit cars made to order, and they finance too with a assortment of engines and accessories.

Most kitcars are made to look like exotics, most, not all. And seeing as Im not into exotics, chances are I would probally not. It would have to depend on the vehicle I was trying to recreate.

I would buy a kit car but I would get one only for the Diablo, F40, or F50.
