Yeah, I know, a blast from the WAAAYYYY old past. I was emailing out pdf's of my Christmas letter, and realized I was missing the email addy of one James (12secV6). Thus, the stop at an old haunt. Happy Holidays to all of my old friends. May it be filled with only goodness, love and all of those toys you're hoping for too!
And in case you're wondering how things are with me? Well, things are pretty great. When I used to frequent this board, I was in the middle of a very abusive relationship. I found the courage around 3 years ago to end it, took a year for just myself, and after that managed to accidentally find a wonderful guy named Jon. He and I have been together for almost 2 years, living together for a little over 1. It is the 1st time in my life that I have been able to truly be myself, and it has made such a difference for me! I even got a new job this summer with Blue Cross Blue Shield here in Minnesota, so Jon and I can build a better future together (hopefully wedding bells will be in that future too!). We have two adorable pets, and a home office set up so I can do side jobs--after working at a print agency, I dabble in design--Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, even some web page design--and I still write also. In fact I am coming up with book ideas for when I have free time!
I still do my volunteer work to help animals and battered women. I still have my 5.0 Mustang, and Jon has a Trans Am. I was always a closet Pontiac fan--for my next daily driver it's a Bonneville or even a Monte. [img]smile.gif[/img] Maybe you can all offer me advice on cool things to buy for Jon's car sometime.
Anyways, back to your normal board users. Just thought I would say hi. :D
