Yeah, my roommate was telling me about this .pdf, hopefully it's true. Apparently it was leaked from GM, but we've definitely all heard that one before. It'd be nice if they'd just tell us yes or no, they dont need to release pictures and stuff yet, but just to let us know for sure. This uncertainty sure is making me not wanna get another GM after this car, cuz a lot of other companies are coming out with some nice cars lately.

GM rep at SEMA said that the Camaro will not be produced again. There may be another car released to compare to the Camaro as a next step down from the corvette. he said that any photos on the GM site are GM thoughts, but many other 5th Generation photos are from private designers. Also, he said that a private company is looking to re-release older generations of camaro as replica cars. they are supposed to be making the most popular year of each generation and make available turnkey kits with any engine designated to the Camaro Vin. So, 427 BB 3rd gen?? LS1 69... the choices are very open. But thats not gonna be for a few years.
Theres already a company out there selling a Crate all steel 69 camaro convertible... Check it out in last months Hot Rod magazine, maybe two months ago..
It makes sense that'll be coming out for MY08, on the Zeta platform. If it were going to be on the Sigma lite, it would be out in 07, but Chevy is suppost to be toying arouns with using Sigma for the Chevelle, and the Zeta (smaller) for the Camaro. Can't wait for the NAIAS in 2006! That will be an interesting week

I also made a mistake on my previous post. The original thoughts were that the Camaro was suppost to be built on the Sigma Lite patform. It looks like she'll either be on the Kappa or the Zeta now Oh well, we'll see in a couple years...
