it's not that it's an incredibly ugly car in itself, it just doesn't look as much like a camaro as i think people wanted it to...now the red car in the back is good lookin'
i just think so many cars these days look so much alike and the reason i love camaros so much is that they are still beautiful cars - that one's just not the same - like I said above, it looks like a lincoln/camaro hybrid
It's ok, but the first few views are WAY to plan and flat. I like the neo-retro look but it's gotta look at least as MEAN as the retro years it's trying to immitate. Ford did a pretty nice job with the Mustang, but that Camaro needs a bit more work in my opinion.

How can you say it doesen't look like a camaro?? It might not look like a 4th gen, but that rear 1/4 screams 69. Look at some older F-bodies, first gen epecially. It almost looks like thats what they based the drawings on. The F-body was never a small, sporty car, it was and is a muscle car. Dont make it into a sport compact. That design definately needs some massaging, espcially on the front end, but theres nothing wrong with the big wide and low look, I like it. Bring the F-body back, a new Hemi Charger, and the new stang and we should be having some fun.
The mustang takes real styling ques from '65, '66, '67 models. Mind you, that is a production car! This is what Ford has rolled off the assembly line. What Kid did is just in thoughts. I've seen some other pics of what GM might consider to bring back and I like what is happening inside Skunkworks and the other shops.
Ford did good by combining the 2 generations. Old and new. Looks like a old classic with all the modern safety and conveniences.
Lets look at the Belair concept. Very well designed, but poorly implimented. What was GM thinking by putting a 5 cyclinder in the damn thing??? Come on. I know it's lighter then the original '57 Belair, but no one wants to see an inline motor in a classic. they want to see V8 power. Even toned down power is fine, so long as they see that motor in the bay.
I personally thing that everyone will have a few suprises when the Camaro does come back. I think the "pony wars" will be on again

True, we shouldent take someones drawings too seriously, he is NOT a designer, but you cant tell me the rear quarter panel in this pic is not a direct graft off of a 68-69 Camaro. From the curve of the fender to the louveres in front of the wheel well... look like real styling cues to me. http://www.gminsidenews.com/GMone.jpg
I agree the 05 Stang is well done.

I hope so too, like I said, Chargers, F-bodys, and Mustangs...
