    Introducing Myself

    Hey Guys

    Just thought I'd introduce myself here. I just purchased a 97 Camaro RS. Actually, this one:

    I pick it up on Tuesday. My dad's a mechanic and he brought me up working on cars, so I think I should be able to take care of her pretty well.

    The car's in really good condition. The guy I bought it from took good care of her.

    So anyways, I look forward to talking to you all [img]smile.gif[/img]

      Very nice, but just to let you know, its not an RS. It's a Sport Coupe.

        What exactly is the RS option?

        The carfax says RS as well. The exact wording is "Camaro Base Model/RS".

          RS is an appearance package.

          This to be exact.

            Ahh ok. So, I guess the carfax is wrong.

            The car has air conditioning, but it doesn't have that package.

              It could have at one time, it may have been removed. I know a lot of people who removed the body kit, and swapped wheels on their RS.

                yes but it also comes with the spoiler that is bolted on the sides

                  But you know, I've seen cars like that that say RS on the dash.
