Yeah, I was late for work so i kinda ran out of the house fast, Its a 25 mile drive to work and i got about 20 miles into it when i noticed my gas gauge was below the e, no big deal but then i noticed i forgot my wallet and checkbook at home. I have like 27 cents in my cupholder thats it and a 25 mile drive home to get my wallet and then go get gas. that sucks. hmmm, i would call my wife to bring me my wallet but she deosnt get off until 12am

I do not think that running electric fuel pumps dry is something that you would want to do very often.
