"1999 Chevrolet Camaro: Traction control was a new option on base models and the fuel tank grew from 15.5 gallons to 16.8."
Found that online, so everybody was right. Anywho, yeah, the gas gauges are retarded in our cars.~Chris
1999 Hugger Orange Camaro
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/273836

†…faith…hope

According to the owners manual on my 99 Camaro the gas tank is 16.8 gallons.
Everyone should really read their owners manual, you would be surprised as to what info is in it.
It even tells you what to torque your lug nuts to (hint: 99% of service places torque the lug nuts way to much!)
You will be surprised how far you can go on E. They do that on purpose to scare you into getting gas.SLP CAI, K&N, Whisper Lid, 180* thermo, manual fan switch, 3.42 gears, Auburn Pro LSD, Wester\'s PCM Tuning, TSP Rumbler, High Flow Cat. Best Time: 9.909@71.58 (1/8 mile)
