• Licence taken way

The took away my licence because of my accident. I posted a while back about getting into a car accident, hit a pole at 120 in my race and was in a coma for 2 weeks. I am good for the most part now, considering that i was declared dead and given my final rights, i try not to complain about the small ****. Well that accident was on 3-18-04. I had my licence taken away for like 3 months after i was out of the hospital, and then i got it back. So a week ago i finally got my new licence in the mail, i have been driving on a temperary licence. So on Thursay i get back from a great date and look in the mail to see the DMV envolope! It says that my licence is taken away as of Friday! YEAH! FING DMV! So now i can't go to work, and i have 4 days left in school and i don't know what i am going to do about that, plus now i don't get to drive. I called in and they said it is going to be for at least 3 months. They said that they reviewed my file and even though i retook the drivers exam and got minius zero that they were taking my licence away!
So if anyone wants to go to a party over the weekend they are more than welcome as long as they give me a ride. LOL!
Well just wanted to share my grief with the rest of the world.

Thats sucks. I got pulled over for not having my headlights on when it wasnt even that dark out I had my running lights on and I didnt have insurance. Then he gave me a ticket for the headlights not being on and for no insurance and my license was suspended for like 2 months until I got insurance and paid the tickets...I still drove around and stuff but didnt get caught, which was stupid but I had to get around, like to school and work.

Yeah i have school and work, but the thing is I live with my parents, who are very strict, and my dad is a lawyer, so he won't let me drive around.

Seriously, I dont think I'd complain about having my license taken away after surviving a 120mph crash and coma; count your blessings. Also, if your father is a lawyer, isn't there something he can do about it? Technically they gave it back, so the reviewing the file again thing seems weird. I'd imagine he'd want to help you fight just so you aren't asking for rides everywhere.

And yes, support your local public transit system!! Go bus drivers! (yes, I am a bus driver for my college town if you didnt notice)
