I thought this was interesting, I always like to find ways to beat the radar traps, street cameras etc. This device called the Signal Sorcerer can trip certain street traffic lights & it's easily installed on motorcycles too. A nice mod to roll out next to 'Stang and catch him off guard ;) . http://www.signalsorcerer.com/

It says it works on "inductive loops" at signals. An inductive loop is the wire you see embedded in the pavement at intersections. It senses when a piece of metal (eg, a car) is over it.
The thing for sale is simply a hunk of metal. It does absolutely nothing for a car unless you have a 100% plastic car. For a motorcycle, it would add a bit of extra metal near the ground which would in theory would reduce the unlikely chance that the inductive loop did not sense your motorcycle.
I can trip inductive loops with my bicycle (especially if you ride over the corners of the loop), so I don't think most loops require much metal to trigger them.
Wait a minute... I'm looking at the "technical" specs...
It is just a magnet!
Complete waste of money.

The pong game is easy to beat. Just move your paddle towards the CPU paddle and force the ball past the CPU paddle.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

yeah the magnet thing has been around for a long time, some guys use em, just depends on whether or not you have triggerd lights or not. Around here some intersections do some don't, but if you wanna try just go buy a large magnet at some industrial supply store, will proably be 1/4 the price.-Brad

Well I thought it was neat until now. It will only work IF youre the 1st person in line facing the traffic light.Black \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles!
