I went to one of the local Chevy dealers here in the Burg and they had a "Joe Gibbs Performance Silverado". Man this thing was bad. It had brushed alluminum 20inch wheels, solid black, and two nice corsa tip exiting from the passenger side. And to top it off it had a nice little supercharger sittin a top the 5.3 Vortec. Just thought I would share this, kinda bored. Bob

I saw one on C&D TV this morn (Five Speed) and it did 0-60 in 6 sec, not to bad, had like 460 ft. lbs. trq. And like 380+ hp, can remeber exactly, noice truck.

pretty sure its not the 5.3L, its like a 4.8 or something. but still not a bad truck. its just that you are paying 40K for a truck that barely keeps up with a lightning.
On the window sticker it read "5.3 liter vortec", but the lightning is fast, I think trucks are for hauling and not racing although i would drive it in a heartbeat ;)
