  • Choose a car

The main reason I'm doing this is because I ask myself these questions almost everyday. I'm always thinking about what my next car is going to be, and I have so many that I truely do like. My Camaro will be paid off next year after I get back from Vegas (4-6 month tdy!). After that, and paying off the credit cards, we're going to start saving for our next cars. My question is for the car that I want. I want to know what you all would choose. I'm thinking either a '92-'96 Corvette (manual), or a '98+ Camaro (SS or B4C package, manual). Which one would you choose, and why?

well first off, i dont know what a B4C Camaro
is. second, i choose the camaro because its newer, more reliable, cheaper parts, probably better gas mileage, OBD-II PCM, well, that one depends on what year the corvette will be to argue about that. and it looks better and will be faster.

B4C is basically a cop car, minus badges.

The reason that I even think about that one is because they're pretty cheap ($8k-$10k for a 2000, 2001), and the fact that they're decommissioned cop cars. I personally love the ss package though. The spoiler and hood scoop is the best I've ever seen, personally

"It's got a cop motor,...cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks."

B4Cs were often driven hard but also typically were well maintained.

I just like the cop car past of a B4C.

If you ever see how the cops treat their Crown Victoria's in my area then you would certainly think twice about buying a decommisioned Camaro.

Personally I would buy the SS Camaro.

whats wrong with you guys? the corvette is the clear choice. they are lt1 and reliable. they are also sexy as all getout. he doesnt need good gas mileage he has a sixer at home. i agree a dicommisioned cop car has a chance of being abused. any car that was driven by someone who didnt own it or make payments on it was less cared for. CORVETTE the american legacy. the performance icon. the car of boys dreams. the tire eating torque monster. the track eater. the ricer dicer. come on

Actually, that's the site that I was looking for B4C Camaros. I'm in Florida a few times a year visiting family, and want to stop by there one day to see them in person

I feel the same as you do- I love the way the C4's look, and I think the interior looks a lot better than the C5's.

SS, because I have experience with both. And the camaro hauls way more "booty" than the corvette. (plus the LS1 SS looks as hot as you can get basically)
