well, luckily, it wasnt in my car, or me driving...but the Georgia STate patrol pulled me and my brother over in his truck, because his lights were birght...then he said that the LED's in his headlights were illigal because they had a bluish tint..and that all of the bluish lights are illegal (whats really gay is that they arent even blue, there white, but they look blusish when they are shining right under the yellowy color of a stock-colored light bulb). I had no idea of this... he gave my bro a warning and sent us on our way.

Thats BS if they were illigal they why would all the high end cars like BMW's and Mercedes have them standard. Sounds like the cop was just looking for some excuse.

Because it's OEM equipment that passes NHTSA/DOT standards. They can afford to pass the certification tests. ;)

Most aftermarket stuff is labeled "For off road use only" for that reason. Buyer beware.

What do they do about people with those 'super blue' headlights you buy [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] Sounds like a really bored cop.
