11,500 for a 2000 V6 Camaro

My wife's browsing autotrader looking at V6 camaros, and she comes across this ad.


So she calls, because thats stupid cheap for a 2000. The guy said it was a misprint. He wants 11,500 for it. [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] She laughed at him and told him we can get a Z28 for cheaper. Then the guy told her "No you can't" It get's even better. The car has 70k miles on it [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] He's gonna be sitting on that car for a long, long, long time.

Well yea, it's a marketing scheme. But you're completely missing the point of the thread. He was convinced that $11,500 was a steal for the car. The guy wasn't willing to budge an a single dollar on the price.

Some of those rinky dink dealers will have high prices because they finance to everyone, even people with ****ty credit scores. I see alot of ****ty f-bodies for alot of money in the car traders. Example i find, some place called uncle bobs finance for everyone has no credit check but they have a 95 firebird for $75 a week with $500 down, all fince is based on 36 months. So your looking at $300 a month for a 95 firebird for 36 months so thats around $11k for that 4k car when your done. Those places are all over and people do it because they have no credit or are illegal but make good money and want a nice car. they have to pay double what everyone else does until their credit is establised. Added some more up from no credit places and its below
