    My grandfather passed a few days ago..

    I was closer to him than that of even my father.

    He has been fighting cancer for almost 2 years, and fought hard. On May 29th, 2005 he passed away , in my arms.

    Im not hear for everyone to say im sorry this happened. I would just like to ask that he is remembered. A couple of my friends on this board were blessed enough to meet this great man.

    I recently purchased a domain for him to make a website tribute. For now I put together a small page at my name.com

    sorry to hear that man. i wish modern medicine would get its **** together so that cancer isnt taking people from us all the time. ive lost 3 family members to cancer already. :(

        Sorry to hear that man. My grandfather is 95 and I can see how his health is slowing getting worse. Very sad to see that, specially when you realize that we all will get there one day.
        Now, I try to talk to him as much as I can when I see him.
