Initial Quality article
Interesting read. You already know that Toyota took top honors with initial quality. GM came in second though, as usual. What surprised me (and I don't know much on this, so I might have just been blind) was the Corvette was outclassed by the S2000 and 350Z in the performance car section

on quality, not on performance (that might not be what you are saying tho)
lots of car magezines complain about the vette being cheaply made on the interior, so I can see where they are coming from

I did- three years worth. So, what in your eyes, would qualify for an initial defect in a car that would warrent taking it back to the dealership to get repaired? Hey, if I'm off on the quality of the Corvette, I've never owned one, so I don't know. I just figured, since it's GM's halo car, that it would be one of the highest quality vehicles that they put out
