Its funny they base your ability to rebuild an engine, largely on your knowledge of turbos...

while its arguable that it falls under general automobile knowledge, that quiz assumed you care about tuning imports.

Did anyone notice that there were several questions that didn't have the proper answer.

The one that really pissed me off was the simple question about 4 stroke engines. Its intake compression, combustion (or as they called it power) exhaust. Did anyone notice that was NOT a choice for an answer

The other one was the autox one. If you're sliding around a corner, because you're coming into the corner too fast numbnuts.

Ebrake...I've been to a few autox's never seen anyone ebrake around a corner. So thats deffinately a no.
Hammer the throttle... Lets review this, you already don't have traction, lets make it worse by mashing the gas. Again, no.
Brake late while turning...uh...rule #1 in any performance driving school, NEVER brake hard while in a hard turn. If you must brake while turning, ease up on the steering wheel while you gently apply the brake. I would assume he ment late hard braking BEFORE entering a turn.

Congratulations. You are the real thing. Chances are you could tear down your engine and put it back together in a weekend. You know a decent amount about racing dynamics. The "FATHF" culture has been a bane to your existence since you've been in the game for years before that horrid movie was released. Auto-x, drag racing, track time, you know enough to not sound like an *** while talking about it, and you can probably hold your own on the track too. Race on, good citizen, for you are a true Racer.

The right answer was there, just not starting with intake. They had like Compression, Combustion, Exhaust, Intake. It's a continuous process so it doesn't really matter where it starts. ;)

You're racing solo II auto-x in your eclipse RS. You're turning in ****ty times because you are continually sliding to the outside of the corner, ruining your line. What strategy should you adopt to turn in better times?
A) Use the e-brake to get around the tight ones.
B) brake late on the outside while turning sharply
C) solo II?
D) hammer the throttle after initiating a drift
I picked D but am not convinced it would work.

C is a stupid answer. B would result in sliding off the track for sure. D might have a chance of working except that the Eclipse is FWD and can't really drift, you'd probably understeer. A might allow you to slide the rear out, but it probably wouldn't be faster than taking the turn properly.

it's INTAKE, COMPRESSION, POWER, EXHAUST. Hmmm
