This post is not to start a flame war, but some fact that i feel should be spread to the other L36 owners.
First is their PCMs. INTENSE has lied about their research in their PCMs. Big Jeff, former owner of INTENSE and Chris Green, former INTENSE employee have come forth and annouced that other than the PCMs for the Grand Ams, NO pcm was EVER dyno tested before being released. Also, they have not "dynoed hundreds of cars". Jeff states they have dynoed around 50 for PCM research.
direct quote from Jeff:
"Howdy boys and girls,
I can't believe that this thread got this far along before I saw it. Although I was part owner of Intense at the time, I wasn't involved with pcms. I couldn't flash a pcm if I wanted to. I do know for a fact, that NOT ONE 04 car went on the dyno before the 04 pcms were released. Scott was having problems with the throttle closing on shifts, and that was delaying introduction of the pcms. A new file came from HPT, Scott recruited someone from Indiana, I think to come out to test the new file. He drove the car, and called from his cell phone to say that the throttle issue was fixed. The pcms were immediately put on the market, once again, in a rush to be the first out with them, which has been Scotts marketing mentality all along. The first 04 on the dyno, I believe was the first gen 5 IC car in October of 04.
So for all of you with shattered pistons, you WERE test rats for Scott with your brand new $30,000 car.

and another:
"Howdy boys and girls,
Although this snipit from Intenses website doesn't pertain specifically to 04 cars, it is goddamn lie. keep in mind that the word hundreds implies 200 or more.
At the time of my departure from Intense , I would estimate that we dynoed somewhere in the vicinity of 25 times. Sometimes multiple cars, sometimes the same car for the umpteenth time. I don't believe we dynoed more than 50 cars in the 3 years that I was there.
And as I said earlier, we didn't dyno a single 04 Gen5 car prior to the release of the 04 p.c.m. code. That is a fact.
BIG JEFF "
Direct quote from Chris:
"To expand on this... We (Intense) never dynoed any car, except the Grand Am's, for the sake of PCM development and testing. That's also a fact. "
If anyone has an INTENSE pcm, watch out. you are the test dummies for the pcm.
Also, as in my other post warning everyone about ITENSE's shadyness, their LSDs were a ticking time bomb spewing bronze flakes into trannies destroying them. They now are coming out with their Gen III LSD that theyve put through "rigourous" testing.
I wonder how much tq and how many RPMs this goes to

INTENSE's shadiness and bad business practices are coming to light and it isnt looking pretty. This is just a warning about INTENSE. Again, this is not a flame, but a caution on a bad dealer.
