Work pissing me off

Like the last 3 weeks ive been getting 40hrs from work and like 10-15 hrs overtime becuase we were shorthanded, well i go in today and the bastards have me on 10 hrs this week and 15 next week, Im like wtf so i ask and they are like "well you had overtime so we cut you". This is stupid, the hrs im missing is more than the overtime i did, plus i busted my *** doing 12-14hr shifts for them to pull bs on me. Now im gonna be missing like $550 from my next paycheck.

I work at a hotel

My teacher told me, everyone has to have a job to live, but not everyone has to 'work' ;)

With that said, my job's been pissing me off lately. I recently found out my coworkers, who do less work then me, make well over $1 more an hour than I do. I also get screwed over with my schedule and get the shift that no one else wants to do, so they make me do it.

ditto, i found out the 2 girls who work up front make $1.75 more than me .Im gonna ask for a raise soon though which I highly doubt they will say no too. I know they dont really check the time cards so ill prob just come in on 3rd shift all week and go do laundry in the back

i kept on taking peoples shifts over the summer and my boss yelled at me for going overtime 1.5 hours

retail/customer service jobs are the WORST jobs in the world.. next to cleaning toilets and sorting garbage.

Long hours, low wages, lots of work, constantly getting *****ed at, weekends, holidays (no holiday pay, unless you're full time and work day before and after the holiday), whatever it is - it's your fault. Customer pissed? Your fault. Stock not up on the shelf - your fault..

grrrr... my job (retail) is really pissing me off, that's why I'm planning to become a real estate agent now. I can't stand retail anymore... HATE THAT JOB.

hm... i get my first job over a month ago. they start everyone off at $5.25/hour there (well, kids anyway). two weeks after i'm hired, they hire another girl. both of us are in HS, this is both of ours first jobs... but i work all the ****ty hours. all weekends and busy times. she works 12-5, monday through thursday. the EASIEST hours and days possible... she's making $6.75/hour

there are girls working there that have been there for two years and aren't making that much. we're going to do some collective bargaining.
