well today i had an interview, and the manager called me back a couple hours later and offered me the job. i'm finally done being broke! the only thing that sucks is the job is going to take over my life outside of school. it's a place called "the chocolate vault" here in my town. back in the day (1824-1900ish) it was our city bank. hence the name. there's a big vault they kept the money in which they converted to a freezer for ice cream and chocolate and such. basically, i make ice cream and coffee. there's the occasional brass polishing too (a lot of marble and brass from the original bank's setup that they've kept in tact).
i have school M-F, 7:40-2:40
work every other friday from after school until 10pm.
work every saturday and every sunday, one of the two from 2pm-10pm, the other from 5pm-10pm.
and one other day mon-thurs, from about 5-10.
so yeah, i have no life anymore but i definitely needed a job and i finally got one. everyone went back to college, so places are starting to hire.
