I trust your judgement here - but if nothing has been done to it at all then I'm sure you can add the usual bolt-ons and tune to get that pep that is available. Put the actual curb weights of the coupe & vert side by side and you'll see that it isn't just because of weight. That 3.8 should smoke 'em up when you're done - mine does with the standard intake, exhaust and electrical upgrades.

Yeah, it is definately slow. I was thinking I'm going to have to at least add an intake and eventually a catback and possibly a programmer (if it's worth it). When you get on it, it has pickup but it needs more power.

On the loose-side, it will need a strut tower brace (which I have lying around from the 96', if it fits) and possibly subframe connectors (as mentioned earlier). This car is all show and no go as it stands... but I'm in love. Fbodies are becoming rare and this car is welcomed site in my book. I went to see it again this morning and it's still parked out in front of the dealership. I may take the plunge of owning a 3rd vehicle.

          "possibly subframe connectors"

Not possibly. For sure. The difference in a convert is astounding. Significant improvement in handling. No doubt reduces squeaks,

Cool.. maybe it's not as bad as I thought.. just not use to a stock 3.8, I guess.. still needs a couple of mods though. What kind of intake do you guys have? (Might get the K&N that is open).
