• New tires fun watching them go on.

Ok got new tires the other day @ discount tire. Well I put the G-Force T/A's on my car 275/40/R17 on front and 285/40/R17 in back. Well watching them put them on was like watching a monkey **** a football. Because the sidewalls are so hard they were having trouble getting them on it was taking 3 guys prying on them to get them on. Then they couldn't get the bead to seat on them they aired them up to like 140psi before the bead finally would seat it was pretty funny cause the guy doing it I think almost **** his pants from the bang when it finally did seat. They look really good on the car so yay.

So I take it you got your troublesome F-Body back? And I had a good time watching install the 245's I had on my Camaro, I loved those BFG g-Force KDW's...

140lbs? You know tire machines wont even pump out that much pressure right? I guarantee they use the same Hunter I do at work Sounds to me like a bunch of rookies. And @ 140lbs those tires SHOULD and WOULD have done more than set a bead, lol.

ahh I love being a mechanic.

I'm guessing on that one for how long they pumped it. I know I usually seat the ones on my bike around 70 PSI so if you know for sure enlighten me.

Ya I got it back still makes the noise so who knows it has all new guts in the tranny so beats me I guess when something breaks I will worry about it. O and the tires that I did were the KDWS for the longer treadlife and snow rating so they don't have the radical tread pattern.

My KDW's worked great in the snow when I had them, even though they weren't rated for it. I guess it's all in how you drive?
