  • Burnt Out Headlight

I have a burnt out low beam, and I went to the store and bought two new replacement headlight lamps for each low beam, but I really have no idea how to replace the old headlamp with the new one?

    Any help?

do you realize you posted this in the lounge?

cause this is definatly general tech stuff

those bulbs are easy to replace. they twist out and you pull the old bulbs off and install in reverse

Then move it. I wasn't sure where it should've been put.

I could be wrong, but wouldn't that be for the Camaro? I don't think you could twist the rectangular sealed beams out on a Firebird.

It's impossible, you have to buy a new Firebird when the headlights burn out.

GM sells a whole front clip with the radiator support, front bumper reinforcement, headlight motors, headlight beams, and covers all for just under an arm and a leg.

The first step is to turn on the headlights so the light will flip up. Then pull the fuse for the headlight motor. Turn lights off. The should not go down. Replace the light... There are some screws around them somewhere. Turn lights on. Replace headlight motor fuse. Turn lights off. You are done.
