only if my dreams would come true and gm made this. but it sed gm made no comment for legal reasons
I don't know why GM doesn't try and make that car... I have seen that picture brought up a 100 million times as a prospective favorite by f-body owners, and it woudl make good competition for the Mustang. Especially with the LS2.
I know you can't just see a pic and slap a car together. Knowing GM they will probably build it 10 years after the retro sports car look is done.

The GT500 really impresses me where the Mustang GT dissapointed me: ample power! It took Ford all these years to make a base V8 with 300HP when Chevy had 300HP underrated LS1's.
The GT500 is a step in the right direction for Ford. With import sedans pushing over 300HP, the only way the Stang will be a true muscle car is if it packs a huge punch in the power department.

gm makes me sick to my stomach. i have alot of loyalty to gm and thier products but i see them going down like watching a family member on crack. nothing you can do. my first vehicle was a 1966 chevy pickup which still runs strong on the origignal 6cyl. gm needs to go back to the days where cars were engineered for quality. pull in the reins a little and cut back some models from their massivly extensive lineup. they are straggling to sell 10 different versions of the same vehicle. I agree with what was said earlier, trucks and suv's are not the answer. gm needs to be developing more efficient engines if they plan on continuing the truck/suv production. Perhaps specialized brands should be in the future. i.e.: pontiac makes good cars, chevrolet makes good trucks. As far as a pony car gm is not in a postion to put up with ford. After killing off a rear wheel drive platform and shutting the fbody factory, gearing the drive towards trucks and suv's and adding model after model of them. gm is no longer a car company they are a mass producer of gas guzzling monsters. i dont think i could ever buy a new mustang..they are beautiful cars and i turn my head everytime i see one go past. But in my mind ford has a reputation of reliability. I question the quality of the mustang because unless ford planned ahead for mass production, theres no way they could turn out such a cheap car and still have it made of quality materials. I will stay with gm until the day they file for bankruptcy and lay off all their workers. Just my opinion and some of the gm croud may move to ford. its your choice. so if gm would just go back to specific brand models and high quality parts i think they could pull themselves out of this slump. till death do us part
The confusion surrounds me
change is imminent
if I were they
we could be great

that's why ford engineering ain't got **** on GM.
GM engines >> Ford motors
i don't think Ford even has a 602ci engine.
but all I see is blah blah blah Mustangs outselling Camaros, woo dee doo. Everyone could be jammin' out to 50 Cent, I don't give a **** ... popular doesn't necessarily mean quality. I'd rather nod my head to Kool Keith, and roll a 2002 Camaro SS, black/silver racing stripes. **** Dubs, I'd roll Daats.
eh, **** 'em ...I'll buy a Hyundai before I go with Ford.
There's no hope for camaro's coming back. I just got my motor trend august issue and on page 30, i quote,"General motor's plans for a rear-drive Velite Sedan, cnvertible, or anything else are officially dead. The murder also affects any rear-drive chevy coupe, Camaro, Chevelle, or otherwise. While development of a new Zeta platform was scaled back months ago, the decision to pull the plug on these new cars is much more recent. The only sub-Cadillac/Corvette rear-drive program going forth (beside Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky) is the next-gen GTO, expected for the 2008 model year"
Camaro is not coming back. If you have a high mileage camaro trade yourself a newer one. If you have low mileage newer camaro, hold on to your baby. i am hoping to trade my camaro for a newer one and keep it for a while. i will NEVER buy a Mustang. I will NEVER drive a mustang even if someone give me for free. Anyway, farewell to camaro. God rest your soul.
My next car will be some sort of import turbo toy. GM is really irritating me, and everyone has a mustang.
I'll keep the GMs I have, but after that I'm not sure I will get anything other than Corvettes from GM.

i'll never go ford, and i won't **** with imports.
if gm doesn't come back with a camaro in the next few years, my next ride is gonna be a goat, or a '68 'maro (if not a 2000-2002 Cam) .
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
