I hope you checked Maple Grove web site before you headed up there.It's postponed until Oct.8-9-10

yes, i did get all the way there. they postponed it like an hour before i went to the track. i was eatin at a diner and i heard the news.

3 hours of driving for nothing. :(

and october 9th is SLP day, so i wont be seein any NHRA action, cause im goin there instead.

I always go to the World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova Dragway Park, my local strip. Its quite amazing. They set a record for the most Funny cars at one event at the same time....36. I was there, it just happened about a month ago, maybe a little longer.

Also, just a piece of advice, DO NOT STAND BEHIND JET CARS WHILE THEY ARE STAGING! I did, and everytime they jammed the afterburners trying to stage, i thought for sure my head was going to scramble itself everywhere.

O yeah....and there is nothing like the smell of nitro.....mmmm..... [img]tongue.gif[/img]
