Last week at work i had to design a investment portfolio for a client of ours, and now today i get to sit down with a group of Senior Account Managers and they are going to make me give a presentation on it and then gril me on it...it should be a wonderful experiance. I am the youngest person to ever have gone through this at the company so i am not really sure what to expect...but i am pretty sure that i am going to hold up just fine. Anyways i will tell you how i did when i get home around 6 west coast. Isn't work wonderful?

Well that was probably the worst experiance of my professional life. Got reamed for 45 mins straight. 4 guys gave me a review. First guy said it was good, second only had one bad thing, third had 3 things for me to work on, and then the 4th laid into me for 45 mins straight. It was litterally the worst experiance of my life. Eventually the other guys told him he was being a jackson, in other words, and to lay off.
I was sitting at my desk feeling like a total moron, when one of my reviewers came up to me and told me not to feel bad cause mine was one of the better ones that they had heard, and that the only reason i got slaughtered was because that guy was under orders from my father...the boss...to give me as hard of a time as possible.
I am glad that he tore my project apart so that i know every tiny little thing that needs to be improved on, and i like being held to a higher standard...but it is also alot nicer knowing that you are being held to the higher standard and not the village idiot. Cause all the other reviews for the day average 20-30 mins. O well.

Not my form of motivation..
I hate when people try to motivate me by telling me I can't do something, or yell at me and whatnot. Usually I'm like "ok, I'll take your word for it."

Just don't use the word experience in your presentation and they'll think you're a little smarter

Yeah considering my age...i think that word is out of the question. It wad pretty brutal though...even after they told me i was being held to a higher standard i still came home and sat in my Camaro for a couple of hours, and right now i am going to go to bed cause i don't feel much like being awake.

I only drove around for a second and got over it...didn't want to do something stupid. So i just parked in frount of the house and chilled listening to loud music.
