  • I cant work at Autozone

ive been looking for a summer job because im hoping to have about 3k saved by the end of summer. Then it's turbo time baby!!

well when i was buying an oil sending unit today at autozone, i asked for an application and they said you have to be 18 to work there ( im 16). which sucks cuz i wanted to work there, but hopefully i can still get a job at advanced or napa or carquest or something.

i just thought id tell everybody the bad news.
do you have to be 18 to work at all auto parts stores?

I don't know whereabouts you are in Ohio, but I work for a towing company in Michigan and make about 8.50 an hour. Great job. I know a lot of kids who work for towing companies around here. You can train a monkey to tow. You're in a good position of being able to invest so much in your vehicle. I wish I could do the same. I'm about to turn 17 this month.

Lots of places you have to be 18 especially stuff that is pretty much car related.

i dont know what you mean by a good position? i mean im not rich or anything. every modification that has been done to my car has come straight from my pockets, not my parents. with the exception of christmas and my birthday. i work my a** off. i have a part time job 4 days a week at my neighbors loading trucks for his vending business. and i want to have a full-time job during the summer so i can achieve the goal ive always had with my car....a turbo'd v6 firebird that can rape a stock to modified trans am.

are you the one to actually tow the cars?
i wouldnt mind that job except im in a really small town so business probably wouldnt be that high.

did you really wanna work at a crapozone anyway? there are other more respectable jobs in relation to cars out there that you could get .... working at a car wash, cleaning people's windows at stoplights... stealing cars and selling them to druglords to name a few

                              </font>[/QUOTE]Yeah, I actually tow vehicles.

And what I meant by good position is that you have all of that money saved. That's awesome.
