• Do you streetrace?

Lets not get into a huge flamewar. We all know any and all streetracing is bad.

I know I never have ;) but I have a friend that has done it here and there I did it alot back when I was in highschool pre-fast and furious days. I rarely ever street race now, usually only on a open road, and usually on it for very little, like an 1/8th mile.

just fill out the pole and feel free to to answer anomynously.

Yes, I still have fun. It starts to get dangerous when you get out of control though. Rush hour, busy intersections, roads with alot of curves (etc) is a good sign to keep the lead-foot off of the pedal. Racing is fun, but it won't do a damn good if you're lying in a hospital bed...if you're lucky.

I race whenever i get the chance. Obviously, not when i could put other people at risk however. Even when i do race, its not up very much past the speed limit, but maybe 5 or 10 over. Gotta know when and when not to do it. I must say i do it many times weekly. I raced 4 cars tonight, but im not gonna bother posting them cause ill get

I race at mostly every chance available, not including rush hour, wet roads, etc. You can do it "semi-safely" You just have to be smart about it. A 0-60 run from a stop light with nobody else around it a lot different than a 120 run on the highway, at 6 PM.

Too many cops, not enough open roads with no traffic. Street racing has come a rarity to me. I'm always up for watching though, thee has to be someone there to call 911 when someone wrecks right?

I only do short ones... maybe up to like 80 mph, then I stop. I dont race through intersections either.

I don't race on the street because there to many idiots’ kids that will go over the top and something bad will happen. Plus there to many other cars around. I got broadsided a year ago by an old lady driven normally I not going to temp fate. However, I do like to open up my car when I driven alone late at night on the highways or the boulevard is like dead empty.
