Sounds good, but I'm not liking the idea, i'd rather drive a "bad@ss" car still. And I dont like the idea of raising gas price even more, when I wouldnt even buy a vehicle that would be capable of 500 mpg.

The high gas prices of the 70's and early 80's is what lead to the 4 cylinder F body of the early 80's (typical bad GM timing - they come out with the 4 cylinder f body just after gas prices reached their peaks).

Yay ok -- FFV's get less mpg, since there is less energy in ethanol than in gasoline. Getting to 500 mpg is a long way away, even with hybrids.
