Plastic intake manifold, Ford knows about it --- they do crack and bust. The replacement is better -- no better power, just better stronger design. If you didnt have a warranty and raised enough stink a dealer would replace it for free...

I called them this morning they told me i had to get it towed over and they would pay for the tow truck.

I asked for a loaner car and orignally told me yes i could have one but after we got off the phone i called a towing company to have the car towed then they called back and said because i am under 25 they cannot give me a loaner car [img]graemlins/rant.gif[/img]

It looks that way. It's $500 more for insurance to add a 3rd car. It's probably not worth it right now to get rid of the Cavalier. It's front wheel drive for the winter.

That's an outright lie. Go to another dealership. I've had 3 rentals from a dealership, and 2 from my insurance company and I'm only 23.

If you're under 21, then you're pretty much limited to a subcompact, but you can still rent.

well i am stuck with this one cause i bought my car there.. they were suppsoed to give me one for free... and they said they would until they found out how old i was. :( I am driving around the soccer mom mobile (mazda tribute)

Matt G - ask em if they'd give your parents a rental and you can take your parents car.


It may be the fact that their insurance doesn't allow em to give out loaner cars to people under the age of 25 --- every dealerships insurance policy is different.

well i am getting it back on wednesday. they just need to order the intake manifold (it was cracked).


The stang has 65k on it.

Didn't think about asking them to let my mom rent one.. i can deal without a car for 1 day..

Well I spoke with them today.. I don't know how many times i can say how happy i am i went through this dealership, they replaced the intake manifold today and there was a bad bearing in the rear i asked them about and they orignally said they would replace the bearing but they couldn't get the part so instead they just gave me a brand new rear with 3.73s(i think thats stock) in it :D He is driving it around tonight to make sure there are no problems with it and I was told the car should be ready to get picked up tomorrow morning.
