  • Keeping hurricanes away

Each year, we had been adding a few hurricane shutters to our house (we could not afford to buy them all at once). Last year, we did not buy any - and look what happened.

So yesterday I bought more shutters and a generator. Hopefully, that will hurricance-proof us for 2005.

    :D

So if you wonder why I can't ever afford to do much to my car - it is because I spend any extra money on things I hope I'll never use.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

hehe the hurricanes were kinda cool, I mean the no AC sucked a littel but it was amazing to go outside and see nature's fury.

Then get a few days off of school and work to sit around drink with friends and look at broken stuff... It was worth the scratches on my car. NOw that I will be moving into a place I care about for next season I might not be thinking the same thing.

Further down on the hurricane wish list is a window A/C unit. Small enough to be powered by the generator, but enough to give us one room with air conditioning.

Just another item we want to buy and never use.

Yeah, watching the storms was awesome, and seeing the big blue explosions light up the sky. The next week without power was pretty cool too, peacefull and calm, and you could see ****loads of starts because of the lack of power.. Just sitting around outside at night. Good times

just chill and hang out with friends. Also lots of sex, remember people on the radio were joking that 9 months after the hurricanes there were gonna be alot of babies.
