            No, i just got back to my computer...went up to my mountian house on wednesday and havn't had access to a computer to post this since.

                Thanks for that though. Some people don't know that...infact in most churches you actually don't stop giving what you give up until easter, it is just a practice through ignorance.

                  im aware of the custom of giving something up until easter, however it makes me wonder why people do it and claim that its for lent when it is no longer the lenten season

                  (for the record i gave up the catholic church for lent 3 years ago [img]tongue.gif[/img] ... in the month or so i decided that i was just going to keep on sacraficing and gave it up for an undtermined ammount of time (who knows i may "come back" as my mother puts it someday) )
