The issue of taxing internet income and purchases has been floating around for years, but my theory is that it would kill internet business because not having to pay sales and income taxes is one of the most appealing things about it. But I could be wrong. It had happened once before :D

They're looking at people who use ebay as a store front, not the average people who use it for "cleaning out the closet" selling. unless your considered a 'power seller' you shouldnt have anything to worry about.
