So I know people steal others credit info, get charge cards, then charge them up.

What I don't understand is why someone would, get a charge card with someone elses info. Then continue to use and pay for the credit card.

I recently had my credit ran, and had 3 deptartment store credit cards on my credit report. They have been late many times sometimes up to 90 day delinquncies, but have always been paid back down. The accounts have been open since 2000 and 2001.

So I'm going to go into one of these department stores, and ask the cashier to check my address on my account, since this fool is paying the bill, I'll find out where he is at.

you could just rack up the charges on the accounts claim fraud and get free stuff? but thats illegal, you shouldn't do that.

Uhm that sucks, so how does that stuff get wiped of ur record and why the hell is he paying the bill? mabye its a mistake? someone accidently got 1 number wrong on a SSN???

Well I do remember back in 2002 I claimed unemployment for like 2 or 3 months. And their was an employeer, on whatever the unemployment office ran on my social, that I never worked at. I just figured it was just an error by a number or something.

If their was an illegal alien, would this be something that they might do?? It would explain why the bills are being paid, and possible even the employeer??

The lady at my bank said I'd have to call the department stores, and claim fraud. Said I could also claim fraud with the credit report itself.

Well I went to Macy's got all the info I needed and have to make another call in the morning to get Macy's off my report. One down, 2 to go.
