got a ticket need advice

hey guys i just got a ticket for spinning my wheels its a 55 buck ticket with one point and im also on a PBJ from the last speeding ticket i took to court. do you think i should take this one to court or just pay the 55 and take the point.

NEVER plead guilty to a traffic violation..ALWAYS show up..sometimes the cop isnt there..which means you get off..most times they are..but if they are they are willing to make a deal with you 90% of the time..he could not turn it into reckless driving becaues he cannot just increase the charge after he already wrote it down..only decrease it if he feels like it..not to mention he would have to prove it and the circumstances are nowhere NEAR reckless driving from what you have explained..thats my advice/experience [img]smile.gif[/img]

dont peel out near a cop next time. but for 55 bucks you shouldnt bother going to court, it will cost you more in court fees.

I did that once in a podunk town outside of Indy. Sure enough, the cop showed up, and it cost me $400. I now plead guilty, because if I know I was doing something wrong, and I got a ticket, im not about to go to court and fight something I know I did.

it really depends..most cases id show up..in this case..$55?..eh..i dunno..the only thing is your prior..i myself would show up only because i have a completely clean record (finally) which would probably work in my favor..otherwise..i dunno..after thinking more..for a $55 1-point ticket..i probably wouldnt bother i guess..but do what you think is best for you knowing yourself, the situation, and the advice given here [img]smile.gif[/img]

But either way, I'd just pay the ticket, man. $55 and 1 point. Well, they won't be lowering the fine and I doubt they'll reduce it to 0 points, which is the only place it can go.
