  • The sacrifices we must make (not serious in nature)

So, instead of pimpin' the Grandad Sport and to save cash, I've decided to drive the Neon as my primary ride. I stand by my ideology that Neon=SEXXAY! The reason I'm doing this is to save money/cut costs to accommidate my future motorcycling habit. Blame Blue Flame V6 for this... ;) Secondary benefits of this decision include saving wear and tear on the Buick, and stopping the quick climb of miles on the odometer. In about 7 months I've put on over 21K miles (I only travel 7 miles each way to work, so it's not the commute that's doing it! LOL).

So, to spice up the daily drives I'm contemplating adding a few simple mods. I'm looking for a SRT-4 STS (Short Throw Shifter), Booger Bushings and K&N Filter (to add to my MPG, the decal will take care of the added HP thank you very much!).

Anything else? Remember I'm thinking simple and cheap. No turbo kits, suspension, 4" exhaust tips or the like. Remember I'm doing this to save cash. No my Neon isn't rice, it's SEXXAY... nothing less. :D

I already own the Neon. Not gonna buy a WRX, but thanks for the suggestion.

I think I'm going to do these following things, but it's going to take time. The list is in order of priority:

                        - B&M Edge Short Throw Shifter
                        - Booger Bushings (done at the same time as the STS)
                        - ICE-MAN FWI
                        - MPx Underdrive Pulley

The follwing will be done at the same time:

                        Group 1:
                        - Eibach Lowering Springs (1.5" drop)
                        - Prothane Suspension Bushings
                        - Suspension Techniques Front and Rear Swaybars
                        - DC Sports Rear Strut Bar
                        - Vibrant Strut Tower Bar (Silver)

                        Group 2:
                        - AVS Downdraft Spoiler (Take a look)
                        - '02 Front End Conversion (bumper cover)
                        - Window Tinting (Medium tint, not very dark)

If you're going to put a "spoiler" *its a lip* put it on the front so it does something other than help you with your takeoff once you reach optimal airspeed ;)
