UCLA gave me 2 dollars

Yep, I think it was UCLA anyway. They sent me an envelope with a survey and 2 bucks. They politely asked if I would take it, and if I didn't feel like it I could keep the 2 dollars.

I was going to fill it out, but it wants me to put in my social security # and then send it to St. Paul Minnesota (?). Sounded a little fishy, so I kept the 2 bucks and threw everything else away.

If only every college sent me envelopes with money in it... that'd be sweet :cool:

I wonder how much the $2 helps the response rate of surveys. Probably not much. I wish I could get those letters b/c we all know how far $2 goes these days

we got some mail like that when we were in Abilene. Made about $15 too. never spent a stamp in response, but thanked them everytime we spent the money [img]smile.gif[/img]

ATT tried that when we switche dto sprint. "We'll give $50, just cash this check & you'll be switched back" WHenit hit $100 we did,and 2mos later we switched back, as thecheck had no time limit on how long youhadto stay w/them
